THESE INSTRUCTIONS APPLY BEFORE ALL PERMANENT COSMETIC PROCEDURES, INCLUDING FOLLOW-UPS AND COLOR BOOSTS.<\/b><\/p>\n

\u2022 Discontinue use of chemical peels or retinol<\/b> products 4 WEEKS PRIOR<\/b> to the procedure<\/p>\n

\u2022 Discontinue use of any acids<\/b> (glycolic, salicylic, lactic, AHA, BHA) and any skin care products that contain these ingredients around the procedure area 2 WEEKS PRIOR<\/b> to your appointment (check topical makeup products for these ingredients as well)<\/p>\n

\u2022 Do not use lash serums<\/b> for 6 weeks before any eyeliner procedure<\/p>\n

\u2022 Wear glasses<\/b>, not contacts, the day of the procedure<\/p>\n

\u2022 Do not wax or tint eyebrows 3 days prior to the procedure (this applies only to eyebrow procedures)<\/p>\n

\u2022 You must be off Accutane for at least 1 year (no exceptions)<\/p>\n

Avoid the following 24 HOURS PRIOR<\/b> to the procedure:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Exercising\/sweating
\u2022 Alcohol
\u2022 Caffeine
\u2022 Sun exposure\/tanning
\u2022 Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, Advil\/Ibuprofen
\u2022 Fish oil
\u2022 Hair, skin, & nail supplements
\u2022 Protein shakes or green juices<\/p>\n

*Please note: You will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.
*If you get fillers, they should be done 6 weeks prior to your scheduled procedure or 6 weeks after the procedure.
*If you use Botox, it should be used either 4 weeks prior to your scheduled procedure or 4 weeks after the procedure.
*If you have glaucoma, you cannot<\/b> have permanent eyeliner done.
*If you want permanent eyeliner and you have any known eye conditions<\/b>, contact me first.
*You must have eyelash extensions removed<\/b> prior to any eyeliner procedure.<\/p>\n

\u2665<\/span>LIP BLUSH<\/strong>: If you have ever had a cold sore\/fever blisters\/herpes (even if it was many years ago), you MUST <\/strong>contact your doctor or dentist for a 7-day prescription for Valtrex to start 3 days prior to your appointment. Lip blush tattooing can cause cold sore flare-ups which inhibits healing. Even if you have never had a cold sore, the virus can lay dormant so taking Valtrex is recommended regardless.<\/p>\n

*You are not a good candidate<\/b> for permanent cosmetics if:
\u2022 You are pregnant or breastfeeding
\u2022 You have a pacemaker\/defibrillator
\u2022 You suffer from keloid (raised, purple) scarring
\u2022 You suffer from hemophilia<\/p>\n

*You are not a good candidate<\/b> for permanent cosmetics if you take these medications: Triflusal, Clopidogrel, Prasugrel, Ticagrelor, Ticlopidine, Cilostazol, Vorapaxar, Dipyridamole, Coumadin, Pradaxia, Xarelto, Eliquis, Savaysa<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The day of the treatment: Absorb<\/b>
Gently blot the area with clean tissue to absorb excess lymph fluid. Do this every 10-20 minutes<\/b> for the full day until oozing has stopped. Removing this fluid prevents hardening of the lymph. Begin the following steps (wash<\/b> + moisturize<\/b>) the night of your appointment.<\/p>

Days 1-7: Wash<\/b>
Wash daily to remove bacteria and dead skin. (Don’t worry…THIS DOES NOT REMOVE THE PIGMENT!) Gently wash your eyebrows each morning and night with water and the provided Cetaphil gentle cleanser. With a very light touch, use your fingertips to gently cleanse the eyebrows. Use circular motions on the area for 10 seconds and rinse with water, ensuring that all soap is rinsed away. To dry, gently pat<\/b> with a clean tissue. DO NOT use any cleansers containing acids (glycolic, salicylic, lactic, AHA\/BHA) or any exfoliators. **Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is OK.**<\/p>

Days 1-7: Moisturize<\/b>
After cleansing, apply a rice grain amount<\/b> of the provided aftercare ointment with a clean cotton swab and spread it across the treated area. Be sure not to apply too much, as this will suffocate your skin and delay healing. The ointment should be barely noticeable<\/b> on the skin. Never put the ointment on a wet or damp tattoo. Always use the cleanser and aftercare ointment duo together.<\/p>
